Statistically, suicide is the second leading cause of death
for 8-24 year olds (CDC).
4600 lives are lost each year just among this age group.

Although suicide has become a major epidemic for people of all ages, sadly enough, nationwide, our young people are rapidly joining the ranks of 'endangered species.' The primary reasons are due to drugs, bullying, sexual predators, mental and physical abuse and social media bullying. Their confidence in safe havens within the family and community has been replaced by hopelessness, drifting, dejection and rejection, to the extent that each year thousands select suicide as a permanent solution to a temporary problem!
